REPORTS AND REVIEWS

A bigger fish to fry!

The toughest ticket at Paris, TN's annual fish fry always is the private "Barbeque & Blues" shindig  sponsored by Security Bank & Trust Company.

John Austin headlined the show this year with a group featuring some of his old Hoosier Daddy band mates from college days at Murray State University.  The reception was FANTASTIC!

Partygoers let officers of the host know they'd like to see and hear more of John's performances.

"They don't have to wait on the fish fry to bring John back for another show," suggested one  fan.  "Any excuse would do as far as I'm concerned."

The annual Fish Fry event is sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Jaycees to raise funds for their community projects.

Hayriding in Huntingdon

John Austin wowed the crowd April 22nd at  the Huntingdon Hayride, a great new monthly show at The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center.

John kicked off the show with a set that included a few songs from his Country as Cornbread album.  During the intermission he sold out the supply of CDs he had brought to the show and had to take orders for more from his new fans.

La Hacienda Show

A Great Success

John Austin rocked a packed house at the La Cantina Sports Bar at the La Hacienda Restaurante Friday night, March 21st.

The crowd had such a great time, additional gigs at the beautiful new venue at 1110 Hillsboro Rd in Franklin, TN, appear to be on their menu.

Owner Salvador Guzman's staff are cordial hosts you will enjoy meeting and the food is the best Mexican fare you'll find in Middle Tennessee.
